Yes, the above book covers show books that are actually in El Paso school libraries. Three of them are in high school libraries (Jay's Gay Agenda is also in a middle school library), and three of them are in elementary school libraries. Scanned pages from these books contain profanity, drug use, and visual or written descriptions of sex, homosexual sex, rape, abortion, child sexual abuse, pornography, police brutality including shooting of children, etc. Content may be disturbing to adults, yet schools are providing this material to KIDS to read. It's truly disturbing.
To see books in El Paso ISD's own online library catalogs, go to their website and visit "departments". From there, click on "resources" and you can search all of the catalogs in the district. Try searching under "gender", "transgender", "gay", "lesbian", "racism", "police brutality", "rape", "sex", etc. You might be shocked at what you see offered to kids in their school libraries to read!
