Lake Dallas ISD: Shocking Books in Their School Libraries!

These shocking and extremely inappropriate books are found in Lake Dallas ISD school libraries according to their own online library catalog. These are JUST SOME of the inappropriate books in their school libraries. Included are scanned pages from the books.

Warning!! These books contain graphic descriptions (written and visual) of sex including pedophilia and rape. For example, the first book includes a graphic description of sex between a fourteen-year-old boy and a thirty-three-year-old man.

Please keep in mind that 9th-12th graders attend Lake Dallas High School, and that students as young as fourteen can check out these books without their parents knowledge and permission. Students can also read these books in the library without checking them out. These books are obviously inappropriate for a SCHOOL LIBRARY according to any amount of common sense.

What is in your child's school library? Search under terms such as "gay", "lesbian", "sex", "racism", "transgender", "rape fiction", "abortion", etc.

To search the entire district's online library catalog:

1. Access the library through Lake Dallas Middle School and click on Destiny Discover to access the online catalog.

2. Go to "Search Options" in blue at the top right corner. Change the location to "Lake Dallas ISD". Be sure to change the location to "Lake Dallas ISD" for every search.

How is your child's school indoctrinating the kids? What class discussions are they having? What supplemental materials are they using in the classrooms: news articles, YouTube videos, etc.? Talk to your kids about what they are learning at school. Get informed and get invovled!
