BLOG SERIES: Transgender Fiction Library Books in Upper Elem, Middle, and High School Libraries

The Art of Being Normal is about a transgender (David) who was assigned a male gender at birth but knew at the age of eight that he was really a girl. It always features Leo, David's friends, who was born a girl and is transitioning to be a boy. This book is found in the following districts in school libraries, and this is not an extensive list:

  • Fort Worth ISD (Middle School and High School levels)

  • McKinney ISD (HS level)

  • Rockwall ISD (HS level)

  • Dallas ISD (HS level)

  • Plano ISD (HS level)

  • Denton ISD (HS level)

  • Houston ISD (HS level)

  • Richardson ISD (HS level)

  • Irving ISD (HS level)

  • Mansfield ISD (HS level)

  • Garland ISD (HS level)

  • Anna ISD (HS level)

  • Melissa ISD (HS level)

  • Wylie ISD (HS level)

  • Mesquite ISD (HS level)

  • Frisco ISD (HS level)

Notice how this book indoctrinates kids in the American Marxist agenda:

  • Normalize transgerism. (They are in every school!)

  • Destroy families and drive a wedge between parents and children. (Leo's parents let him go on puberty blockers! Why won't my parents let me do that? They must not love/accept/understand me.)

  • Destroy society by desensitizing children to sexuality and promiscuity. (David talks about his mother's boobs and measures his own penis.)

Please think about what middle and high school kids might think when reading this. Will this confuse them? Will it make them think that this is normal or happens more often than it really does? Will it make them believe that they are transgender themselves? Will they be likely to discuss it with their parents?

Thank you for reading my first post in this series. My next post in this series is coming soon and will feature a different "transgender fiction" book in our school libraries. Get informed and get involved!
