Brainpop videos used in classrooms to indoctrinate children in queer theory and CRT
Brainpop is a paid subscription used by many school districts and includes videos about LGBTQ+ topics, CRT, and more. To be fair, Brainpop features hundreds of videos on topics ranging from English grammar to math. However, they also have videos that indoctrinate kids in queer theory, CRT, and the importance of COVID vaccines for kids. Teachers use these videos to indoctrinate students in their classrooms and as springboards for further discussion in the classroom.

Where is the educational value in these videos? Brainpop's "Pride Month Pop Quiz" will teach kids nothing they need to know. Instead of teaching the actual novel Jane Austen wrote (which is a classic) or just teaching personal pronouns as an actual grammar lesson, Brainpop is using this video to indoctrinate kids in gender theory. "Some individuals prefer 'they' as a pronoun"! Why? Because the individual is non-binary, of course!

Here is Brainpop's own Tweet about how the impact of institutionalized racism remains today. This philosophy is what Critical Race Theory is founded on. People of every race have been successful as corporate CEO's, TV personalities, athletes, and even presidents of the United States. Anyone who works hard in this country can get ahead. If there were systemic racism or if the impacts of slavery and segregation still existed, then no African-American would be able to be successful. Children should not be taught that a system is in place to keep them from being successful because of their race.

Brainpop has also been used to convince children to take the COVID-19 vaccine. As we saw earlier in their resources for teachers, their videos are for children as young as kindergarten. Shouldn't parents be making this decision about whether or not to get their children vaccinated? Of course they should, but Brainpop is trying to get children to talk their parents into it.

This was a featured movie on Brainpop's Facebook post, and if you notice the date of March 2021 this was during the time when COVID vaccines were being pushed everywhere:
In this video, one of the characters says, "Vaccines don't just protect the individual. They protect the whole population." If I get a vaccine and it truly does protect me, does it matter if anyone else around me is vaccinated???

Should Brainpop and teachers at school be teaching kids as young as five years old about queer theory, CRT, and COVID vaccines? Are these discussions best left to their parents?
Last year, parents in the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD in Texas discovered that their school district had paid Brainpop $33,000 for access to Brainpop videos!!!
