"Rape Fiction" Book in School Libraries
This book is searchable in their online library catalogs under the subject of "rape- fiction". Blood Water Paint by Joy McCullough is found in Dallas ISD in 21 schools including several middle schools and downloadable as an ebook at any school, Coppell ISD at the 9th grade campus and at the high school, Plano ISD in 11 schools including 1 middle school, Wylie ISD at 2 high schools, Melissa ISD at their only high school, Denton ISD at 3 high schools, Richardson ISD at all 4 high schools and 1 junior high, Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD at 1 high school, Mesquite ISD at 4 high schools and 2 middle schools, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD at 1 high school and 1 middle school, Fort Worth ISD at 7 high schools, Keller ISD at 2 high schools, and Arlington ISD at 6 high schools and 2 junior highs. This is probably not an exhaustive list, but just some examples. Here are the inside and back cover of the book jacket:
Why are schools placing "rape-fiction" subject matter books in their school libraries? And they don't just have a few "rape- fiction" books. For example, a search of the following school district online library catalogs resulted these results when searching under the subject "rape- fiction":
Dallas ISD- 173 "rape fiction" search results, 46 of these in middle schools
Richardson ISD- 80" rape fiction" search results, 31 of these in middle schools
Denton ISD- 142 "rape- fiction" search results, 25 of these in middle schools
Anna ISD- 30 "rape fiction" search results, 12 at the middle school and middle school education center
Notice that it isn't just large urban school districts that are promoting "rape- fiction" subject matter books in their school libraries. Anna ISD is so small that it only has one high school!
I believe that the Marxist agenda, which infiltrated our public schools a long time ago, is twofold. One, they want to desensitize kids to sex and drive a wedge between them and their families and to even destroy families. The public school will teach the kids the values it wants kids to have, NOT the parents! Two, they want to perpetuate their feminist agenda. Notice the back of the book cover...."feminist" is mentioned twice as the character is labeled a "feminist".
As you read the following pages scanned from the book, ask yourself if kids, including middle school kids from the age of 11 to 13, should be reading this without their parents' knowledge or consent. The Marxists argue that these books should be available for kids to read who have been raped so it can help them deal with what happened. Tragically, this does happen to kids. And if it does, reading a book about rape including descriptions of rape will not help these kids, and it might damage them even further emotionally and psychologically. Obviously, talking to a counselor trained to deal with this issue would help them a lot more than reading a school "rape fiction" library book.
This is obviously not appropriate material for kids to be reading. Keep in mind that this book is found in many MIDDLE SCHOOLS as well as high schools! SHOCKING!!! Find out what is in your child's public school library! Get informed and get involved!!
