Texas School Board Heroes Put a Stop to Indoctrinating Kids!
This is evidence that conservatives are winning some major battles. It also shows why we need to elect true conservatives to school board positions!
School Board Hero in Plano!- Cody Weaver, Plano ISD school board member, in July of 2021, led a two-hour-long seminar teaching parents how to identify Critical Race Theory and how to prevent it from being taught in public schools. What a profile of leadership and courage! Bravo, Mr. Weaver. Keep up the good work in Plano.
School Board Heroes in Southlake!- Carroll ISD has stood up against teaching Critical Race Theory in its schools despite a U.S. Department civil rights investigation alleging discriminatory practices in the district. (Translation: If you don't allow us Marixists to indoctrinate your children with our agenda, we will send the government thugs after you.) ALSO, in October, school board members voted to reprimand a 4th grade elementary school teacher after she gave a book by Khendi (known Critical Race Theorist) titled This Book is Anti-Racist: 20 Lessons on How to Wake Up, Take Action, and Do the Work (which will be one of the books featured in an upcoming blog about how schools are using library books and classroom supplemental books to indoctrinate kids in the Marxist agenda) to one of her 4th grade students to read. The reprimand was voted on after the parent brought a concern about the book to the school board. Keep fighting for the kids in Carroll ISD!
School Board Hero in Keller!- School Board Member Dr. Charles Randklev was the only member who spoke up after parents addressed concerns regarding the book Gender Queer ( which has been featured in a blog on this site) and other pornographic library books in their schools. Dr. Randklev spoke about the need for the board to be transparent and to address parent's concerns. Gender Queer was eventually removed from the high school library. What a way to stand up for the kids in Keller!
School Board Heroes in Irving!- Teachers in Irving ISD banded together to put rainbow stickers on the walls outside of their classrooms to indicate their support of the LGBTQ+ community in their schools. District policy "prohibits teachers from using their classroom to transmit their personal beliefs". Randy Randle, a school board member, made the motion at a school board meeting on March 21, 2022 to create a specific policy against the rainbow stickers. The school board voted in favor of this. In spite of enormous push-back from the Marxists, these school board members voted to keep teachers' personal beliefs out of the classroom. They voted in the best interest of the kids in Irving!
There are conservative heroes everywhere winning the battles for our kids....
School Board Heroes in....California!?!?!- Our conservative brothers and sisters in California definitely have an uphill battle over there!! Yet, the school board in Paso Robles Joint Unified School District voted 4-3 to ban Critical Race Theory indoctrination and banned the teaching of this ideology in the classroom. A special award to hero Dorian Baker, the school board member who proposed this ban. With heroes like this, they can turn even California red!!!
