The indoctrination starts early!

This is the 3rd grade reading textbook published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company in 2020. It is a TEA adoption and listed on the approved insturction materials bulletin. At first glance, the textbook seems very patriotic...baseball, the American flag, Americans cheering together....

On p. 228 in an informative text about the different monuments in America, notice what they write about Abraham Lincoln. There is no mention of the most important thing this white man did, which was the Emancipation Proclamation to free the slaves. These days, we are told by the American Marxists that all white people are racist. However, Abraham Lincoln didn't just lead our country through the American Civil War as they state in the textbook. He wanted to fight the Civil War to get rid of slavery and free the slaves. Isn't that important? You might think, "Well, third grade is too young to teach them about slavery."

But notice on page 239 in an informative story about the parts of the constitution that it mentions the amendment that prohibits slavery! That Thirteenth Amendment was ratified in 1865 after Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863. Lincoln made that amendment possible, and that connection is completely left out. With recent events involving the tearing down of our national heroes and their statues, it is important for children to be taught what our American heroes did.

There is also an opportunity here for teachers to share their own political views with students. Our children begin to be indoctrinated very early! Elementary schools are also very involved in Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, and Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Why is there no Anglo Heritage Month? "Well, that's because Anglos come from all different heritages and cultures. You have the Irish, the Swedes, the Russians, the French, etc. so you really can't put them all in one category and teach that culture." But, that is what the Marxists attempt to do with race. For Hispanics, there are Cubans, Columbians, Mexicans, Hondurans, etc. and each culture is completely unique. It is the same with Black History Month. There are so many cultures that it would encompass. But, the Marxists always want to put us into boxes. What about a child who has a white mother and a Hispanic father? What race is that child? In my own teaching of multicultural students, I have learned that students assume that white people do not have a culture. Only minorities have a culture. Also, notice how elementary schools in Texas celebrate Cinco de Mayo which is Mexico's Independence Day. Children fly Mexican flags and talk about how Mexico won its independence from the French. Why are we doing that in this country? Do children in Mexico celebrate July 4th and fly the American flag? The Marxists do not respect our country and this is evidenced by what they say and do. Students are taught early to celebrate other countries. There is also an effort in many schools to not say the Pledge to the American flag or to not display the American flag.. Indoctrination begins early.
